Please note that the Louisiana Legislative Auditor (LLA) shall respond to all public requests in accordance with the Public Records Law. The Public Records Law addresses the records of the LLA pursuant to R.S. 44:4(6)(a), as amended by Act 507 of the 2024 Regular Session (effective August 1, 2024), which states:

This Chapter shall not apply:
….
6)(a) To any records, writings, accounts, letters, letter books, photographs, or copies or memoranda thereof in the custody or control of the legislative auditor, unless otherwise provided.

The completed audit reports of the LLA are public records under the Public Records Law pursuant to R.S. 44:6. For your convenience, these reports are available electronically on the LLA’s website under Reports.
