2024 Millage Workshop Information
The Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s Office (LLA) will offer four Millage Workshops in 2024. Two will be held virtually and two will be held in-person. Please select the date that you would like to attend and click on the links below to register.
When registering, you must provide your name, taxing district, and e-mail address.
In each workshop, we will provide a detailed explanation and discussion of reassessment, the millage adoption process and the Open Meetings Law. Additional information to be provided will be guidance on the new procedures for the submission of the millage documentation that began in 2023 and the documents to be submitted for review.
Participants may obtain an updated copy of the Setting Millage Rates book either by printing it or viewing it electronically.
Each registered participant of a virtual workshop should log into the Millage Workshop individually. This will allow each participant’s attendance to be recorded. While the LLA is not offering Continuing Professional Education credit for this workshop, the participant’s governing agency may. A confirmation of attendance can be provided if the (requesting) participant has logged into the workshop and remained active for the entire time.
